$6,204,000 Portfolio Loan of 45 SFRs – Houston, Texas

LoanBase is proud to report that we’ve recently arranged a complex loan involving 45 single-family rentals in Texas. These units are owned by a foreign national and, though non-resident borrowers often face challenges accessing capital for their US real estate, LoanBase was able to find a lender that understood the financial strength of the borrower and the assets securing the loan. This loan was further complicated by the sheer size of the portfolio, which can present difficulty in underwriting. Thankfully, our origination team remained persistent until it identified a creative structure to get the properties financed and push the deal to close.
